Fig ‘Little Ruby’ (Ficus Carica)

Ficus carica, known by most people as the common fig, is a plant native to the Middle East and Western Asia. It is in the mulberry family of plants, and thrives in Mediterranean like climates. Little Ruby Fig is a dwarf fig variety that abundantly produces sweet, strawberry-colored, medium-sized fruit. Due to it’s small stature, the Little Ruby is more than just a  gorgeous fruiting true, but also an excellent specimen for bonsai.
